We want to love up on each and every one of the #boldandbrassy tribe members this #BlackFriday & #CyberMonday. There WILL be discounts for you to take advantage of but more important than TAKING a percentage off, we want to GIVE a percentage BACK!
This year we will be DONATING 15% of ALL SALES from www.boldandbrassy.ca to a very special non-profit organization called Tiny Hands of Hope 👼
Not only will you have the chance to receive great discounts on killer #styles but you will also have the opportunity to give back this season 🎁 ~ and that's the type of woman a #boldandbrassy customer is! Sometimes we may feel we want to give back but perhaps it isn't within out means. This is a way for us to band together and give back in numbers!
Here's the scoop on Tiny Hands of Hope! My friend Karen is one of the co-founders of Tiny Hands of Hope and I have heard her story numerous times. The courage it takes for someone to share what she has gone through is both inspiring and chilling. As a mother myself, the thought of losing the most valuable part of who you are is unimaginable to say the least. Karen is one of the most strong and bravest women I know. To be able to put her pain upfront for others to relate too and to build a community of women supporting one another during what one could imagine, the darkest of days is a woman on purpose, on a mission and a woman with a servant heart. That is exactly the type of woman Bold & Brassy is proud to support. When a friend of mine lost her daughter, I attended one of the Gala's hosted by Tiny Hands of Hope and was completely moved and compelled to make a difference in any minute way I could. I am proud to say that Bold & Brassy Boutique is honoured and privileged to support these women in our community who are making such a powerful difference in peoples lives. The Bold & Brassy woman is one of grit, tenacity & grace and this organization of volunteers, moms and families are the exact definition of that.
Founded by two #local moms who have experienced the unimaginable, Tiny Hands of Hope Society is a non-profit organization built to help families touched by all types of infant loss, including pregnancy loss, neonatal loss, stillbirth, SIDs and infant death to age of 24 months. It is directed by a dedicated group of volunteers whose lives have been touched by the loss of a child.
They are dedicated to providing centralized bereavement group support resources to those who need them, available bereavement materials to families, raise Pregnancy & Infant Loss Awareness in the community and help in standardizing child loss bereavement packages for the local hospital.
The organization also holds an Annual Memorial Event called Walk to Remember as an opportunity for families and friends to come together to honour and celebrate the little lives that have touched their hearts.
The board is currently focussed on continuing and expanding their support groups to families in and around the peace region. The City of Grande Prairie recently approved a memorial garden which will be a place that families have to remember their little angels. They will be hosting a gala March 3, 2018 to raise funds to complete this project. Watch their Facebook page for when tickets go on sale to attend that event.
